Organic Bali Blue Moon Coffee

From the idyllic mountains of Indonesia comes our Bali Blue Moon coffee. When a volcanic eruption in 1963 devastated the coffee crops in the area, small farmers were provided with new coffee plant seedlings from the Indonesian government to replant the fields.

Grown organically, without the use of harmful chemicals or pesticides, these coffee plants are found between 4,200 and 5,600 feet in the Kintamani Highlands of Northern Bali. Ideal conditions find these coffee plants protected from the harsh sun by shade trees of orange and tangerine. The close proximity to these citrus trees may be why the beans are so sweet and have a bit more acidity.

Hand harvested and wet processed, this coffee has a subtle and exotic earthiness that adds to its complexity. Rich flavors of dark chocolate and vanilla lead to a slightly spicy note and a clean and crisp black cherry finish. We’re sure this Bali Blue Moon will become one of your favorite coffees.
