I was initially concerned with buying a “blend,” but any fears quickly went away. Having had my first experience with Blue Mountain coffee while on vacation IN Jamaica, I have never found another region, nor blend, that could compare favorably with authentic Blue Mountain. In fact, it was my pleasant experience in Jamaica that irrevocably ruined me and forever turned me into a fervent coffee snob. I finally knew what good coffee was! With that background, it is difficult to match my memory of Jamaican coffee, let alone surpass it. This blend does neither but is a very good coffee that will satisfy even discriminating drinkers, like me. It is similar to most other beans you will find in tropical Central and South America. It is very smooth, with a very slight bitterness and low acidity in taste. It is similar to the beans of other tropical regions, like those of the South Pacific countries. If you like the coffees of more arid locales, like the African varieties, then this may not suit you. If you are already a Blue Mountain fan, then don’t hesitate to jump on this blend.

Good blend but is still a blend. Medium roast is a bit weaker than some others.
